Background

Paperactive is a STEM education kit, targeting children from 9 to 16 years old. It enables children to make their own paper toys while familiarizing themselves with electronic circuits and sensors.

Teknikio's mission is to inspire children of all ages to create with technology. It provides custom-made electronics like Led's and sensors, individual toolsets, workshop bundles. The diagram below shows various types of input and output combinations.

DESIGN QUESTION

How might we design a series of kits that teach children the basics of electronic circuits, and guide them to build paper models activated with sensors?

Constraints

1) Create an educative product that can be practical and easy enough for children to make,
2) Use paper as the main material,
3) Use the custom made components (sensors and outputs) that Teknikio already have,
4) Within the constraints described above, find a kit concept that can be augmented in the future and be adopted by different themes.
